Lake Como
From our highest terrace you can admire Lake Como. It will take you 15 minutes to reach it. To explore every corner of its beauty, take all the time you need.
You can stroll through historic villages such as Varenna, Bellagio, Corenno Plinio, Menaggio, with houses overlooking the crystalline waters, you can visit the majestic storic villas and admire enchanting gardens or relax on the small beaches hidden among the inlets.
A ferry tour, on the other hand, will give you a unique perspective on the lake, allowing you to discover its most evocative corners, between nature and timeless architecture.
Cycling excursions
If you love cycling, the Tirano-Colico cycle path, easily reachable from our village, and the panoramic routes of the Costiera dei Cech await you, with itineraries suitable for all levels. From here, you can follow paths that wind through vineyards, woods and ancient villages, enjoying spectacular views of the valley and the lake.
Food and wine events
Valtellina is also a land of fine wines and typical dishes capable of telling, just by tasting them, the story of a generous territory with many traditions.
In autumn, the Costiera dei Cech comes alive with the Tour delle Cantine, which touches Traona, Mello Dazio and Cercino, and represents a unique opportunity to taste local wines and discover the winemaking traditions of the area.
Also in October, in the week following the Cantine, in Morbegno, 10 minutes from Siro, the Fiera del Bitto is held, an event that celebrates the symbolic cheese of the valley, with events involving producers, chefs and food enthusiasts.

Trekking
Valtellina is a paradise for lovers of hiking: from the paths of the Costiera dei Cech, which start right from Siro, to the breathtaking views of the Val di Mello, each route is an immersion in uncontaminated nature.
From Nido di Siro you can reach Località Bassetta, with a walk suitable for everyone, and once at the top you will find yourself suspended on a balcony overlooking the lake, Valtellina and part of Valchiavenna.
For those looking for a more challenging adventure, however, the Orobie Alps, where Monte Legnone is the highest peak, offer many other challenges and extraordinary views.
Ponte nel Cielo (Bridge in the sky)
Val Tartano is located a few kilometers from Siro. Here, waiting for you, is the famous Ponte nel Cielo, a walkway suspended over 140 meters high, which offers an incredible view of the surrounding valleys.
Crossing it is a unique experience, which will make you feel literally between heaven and earth. From here, several hiking trails also start, perfect for exploring a wild and fascinating corner of Valtellina.
